Maritime Mutual maintain a global network of P&I Correspondents providing a rapid response to maritime incidents.
Maritime Mutual’s appointed Commercial and Legal Correspondents and support the Club’s 24/7 rapid response capability to maritime incidents. These Correspondents provide local knowledge, investigative skills and claims control expertise. When a loss incident is first notified to the Club, either through the Member’s broker or to a Maritime Mutual regional office, then – as required – a Maritime Mutual Correspondent will be instructed to mobilise immediately to attend on board.
Maritime Mutual’s Correspondents may also be contacted directly by a Member, their Masters or their Shipping Agents It is always important that a Maritime Mutual Correspondent located at the closest port should be contacted.
